Six Things...


  1. Attempted to Catch Up on NaNoWriMo. I am currently 4,500 words behind, and the holiday with relatives is approaching. Yikes.
  2. Doctor's Appointment. For the youngest. We had to venture out onto snowy roads to make the 40-minute trip to town. We waited for over an hour for a ten-minute appointment. So we also…
  3. Played Number Slide. While we waited. We didn’t win. It was a long afternoon, but oh well. The appointment was a necessary one.  
  4. Drew. No school this week. So the three of us turned out the lights and took turns drawing on the Crayola Color Explosion Glow Board that’s been collecting dust in the closet for almost a year.
  5. Played Pokemon. Yeah, you read that right.
  6. Read. Susan Kaye Quinn’s phenomenal new novel, Open Minds. It is awesome!

    hahaha nothing wrong with playing Pokemon, I have every single generation since the first one, maybe I shouldn't admit that..haha

    Sounds like an awesome time! I love drawing with my kids. :) I don't love waiting forever at the doctor's. I've heard a LOT of great things about Open Minds!
