I’m still reading this one. I learned that it doesn’t work well for me to read two fiction books at once, which I tried to do last week. Roland’s work deserves my undivided attention.

What did you recently finish reading?

I must admit, I am not well-versed in mythology. But the nice thing about Jessie’s book is that you don’t have to know the original story of Eros, Psyche, and Aphrodite to enjoy and appreciate her novel.

What do you think you’ll read next?

My own manuscripts that have lain on their proverbial bookshelves, waiting to be dusted off, edited, and revised. Though my TBR list is HUGE.

This is so much fun, it’s hard to put down. I really like the shift in point of view between Psyche (first person) and Eros (third person). I recommend this one. Visit Jessie Harrell's blog here.

The triology was great. Deserving of movies, for sure.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I have all these commercial books on my bookshelf that have been sitting there for quite awhile. However, I am thoroughly enjoying the reading of Indie authors. So it’s hard to say. I’ve been meaning to get to The Book Thief for awhile, though. But I also want to read Alex Cavanaugh’s books. Hmmmm…
