100 Followers/100 Posts YA Book Giveaway!

To celebrate reaching 100 followers and 100 posts, I have decided to host a giveaway. It is just a small way to thank you for offering support and taking time out of your busy days to read my blog.

So, you ask, what YA books are up for grabs?

Impulse by Ellen Hopkins. Written in free verse.

Aspen Springs Psychiatric Hospital is a place for people who have played the ultimate endgame. The suicide attempt survivors portrayed in this novel tell starkly different stories, but these three embattled teens share a desperate need for a second chance. Ellen Hopkins, the author of Glass and Crank, presents another jarring, ultimately uplifting story about young people crawling back from a precipice. –Goodreads.

If I Stay by Gayle Forman.

In a single moment, everything changes. Seventeen-year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall riding along the snow-wet Oregon road with her family. Then, in a blink, she finds herself watching as her own damaged body is taken from the wreck. –Goodreads.

Like Mandarin by Kirsten Hubbard.

It's hard finding beauty in the badlands of Washokey, Wyoming, but 14-year-old Grace Carpenter knows it's not her mother's pageant obsessions, or the cowboy dances adored by her small-town classmates. True beauty is wild-girl Mandarin Ramey: 17, shameless and utterly carefree. Grace would give anything to be like Mandarin. When they're united for a project, they form an unlikely, explosive friendship, packed with nights spent skinny-dipping in the canal, liberating the town's animal-head trophies, and searching for someplace magic. Grace plays along when Mandarin suggests they run away together. Blame it on the crazy-making wildwinds plaguing their Badlands town. Because all too soon, Grace discovers Mandarin's unique beauty hides a girl who's troubled, broken, and even dangerous. And no matter how hard Grace fights to keep the magic, no friendship can withstand betrayal. –Goodreads.

So what do you have to do?

Well, there’s no jumping through hoops such as sending a blood or urine sample; no writing dissertations on why you should be the recipient of one of the books.

Simply follow this blog with GFC (since it is a 100 Followers Giveaway) and leave a comment with the book you would most like to have and your email address in said fashion: yourname(at)wherever(dot)com. The giveaway ends at midnight MST on July 6th. Winners will be randomly selected (usually my seven-year-old draws names out of a hat, but I may use random.com). Winners will be announced on Friday, July 7th.

The giveaway is only open to U.S. and Canadian folks (i.e., my budget doesn’t allow for international mailings).

Of course, I will never object if you decide to spread the word via Twitter, Facebook, or your own blog.
