WWW Wednesdays is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading.
To play along, answer the following questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I’m dragging my feet on these. Not because they’re
bad, but because I have to think when I read them. And by the end of the day, when I have some time to read, I’m pretty wiped out.
What did you recently finish reading?
I liked it, but gave it four stars on Goodreads because of Clare's excessive use of the semi-colon. Come on. I love a good semi-colon in my
writing, but the woman had a party with them. Very distracting.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I have a John Grisham and a Lee Child on my bookcase,
screaming to be read. But we’ll see.

"City of Bones" is the first title for The Today Show's new book club. They introduced it as the beginning of a seven-book series, which already turned me off. Could it be worth it? My list is at http://katybrandes.wordpress.com/2013/08/21/www-wednesday-august-21/.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand not being able to read a book you have to think about at the end of the day! I try to only read those type of books in the morning. Ha! Lately, I'm having a hard time trying to staying awake reading ANY book at night! So exhausted!
ReplyDeleteMy reading takes a hit whenever I'm into a lot of writing which is these days.
ReplyDeleteMy current book I'm reading is 'The Day After Tomorrow' (not related ot the movie in any way). I love it thus far!
ReplyDeleteI am currently reading GATED by Amy Christine Parker. (I beta read this one a couple years ago!)
ReplyDeleteI just finished IN THE SHADOW OF BLACKBIRDS by Cat Winters. So sad.
And next up is probably FIRE AND ASH, the last book in the Benny Imura series by Jonathan Maberry.
I just read, "Monkey Mind: A Memoir of Anxiety." I'm currently reading "The End of Your Life Book Club." And I want to read "Fairyland" because it's a memoir represented by my agent.
ReplyDeleteI finally finished Ender's Game and am now reading The Crown Tower.
ReplyDeleteI just read City of Bones myself. I enjoyed it though as an MC I found Clary kind of hard to like.
ReplyDeleteI do like The Mortal Instruments but I like Cassandra Clare's The Infernal Devices a lot more.
