- Appointment with Doctor. A necessary evil. Not the doctor, but the appointment. I hate these. My pulse rate runs super high due to white-coat syndrome.
- Bought Vitamins and Supplements. To counteract the effects of the doctor’s appointment. And the stressful aspects of life.
- Read. While I waited for the doctor. It’s one of the few times anymore where I actually have time to read.
- Shopped Online. Scholastic has this once-in-awhile sale on teacher materials for $1 each. This time around, there are over 1600 downloadable books. I love working with the boys over their summer vacation so they don’t regress come fall. It was fun browsing through all the titles. I only bought seven.
- Chores. A little laundry, a little vacuuming. Most of our spring cleaning happened over the weekend. My oldest helped me shred four years worth of documents.
- Geared Up for Writing. I am ready to write, but haven’t done it. Yet. I’ve had some breakthroughs lately on one of my WIPs, so I’m excited to get them down on the proverbial page.
What did you do today?

Kathy and I keep busy. I posted a blog about Kathy's book.
ReplyDeleteI prepared lunch and dinner for Kathy and I.
Went to supermarket redbox to return DVD's.
Tried to start my lawnmower, to no avail.
Wrote to my daughter.
Cleaned the kitchen counter and dishes and stovetop.
Read a couple of chapters of a Stephen Cannell novel "The Vertical Coffin".
Got kisses and wonderful comments from spouse after serving her cauliflower with sauce mornay (cheese sauce).
My best to Zane.
Since you wrote this yesterday, and so far today I'm still in my pajamas, I'll tell you what I did yesterday. I wrote, had coffee with a friend, ran, and took my daughter to soccer practice. A typical Monday, for sure.
ReplyDeleteWow 1600 hundred titles must have took some time to look through.
ReplyDeleteThumbs up for reading while waiting for appointments. My wife taught me to bring a book everywhere I go and it's amazing how much reading a person can do that way:)
