Six Things I Did Today

  1. Talked on the Phone. Not only am I behind in my blog visits, I am also behind on my phone calls. Imagine that. If anyone has a tip on how to come by 10 extra hours in the day (yes ten), please let me know.
  2. Edited. I am getting set to release my first novel in May 2012. Sweeping for those typos and errors just one more time.
  3. Wrote. I am still working on my NaNoWriMo novel from last November. The first-draft is close to being done.
  4. Developed. My husband and I came up with a great idea for an adult suspense novel…many, many (did I mention many?) years ago. It’s time.
  5. Cover Design. Photoshop is so cool! I probably should hire someone to do my covers, but I absolutely love the creativity that goes into designing them myself.
  6. Worked on the A to Z Challenge. Don’t know about it? Go here. It’s awesome! You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter. How cool is that?

  1. Thanks for your visit and follow! Also, on behalf of the co-hosting team, thanks for the shout-out you just gave us. Did you know that if you write a post about the challenge encouraging your readers to join, you'll be mentioned in our weekly Sunday round-up? It's nice publicity for your blog, and it helps us spread the word. We're hoping for over 1,000 and are in the early 900s as of now. Anyway, if that interests you, let me know. I'm helping Lee "collect" the blogs that will be featured.

  2. Six things I did today:
    1) wrote a blog post
    2) read a bit
    3) went to work...where I worked
    4) drafted an email inviting people over for brunch
    5) went to the bank
    6) the day is still young although I have a feeling I wont do anything else...maybe buy toilet paper.

  3. What an awesome list! Here's mine:

    1. Learned about new "security measures" on our state test.
    2. Fumed about the same.
    3. Signed a document attesting to the fact that I can be prosecuted for breaking those security measures.
    4. Informed my students that I am no longer allowed to point out if they forget to do a section of the test. If they accidentally overlook a page, they are on their own.
    5. Tried to put aside the unfairness of it all and get back to teaching.
    6. Came home all the more determined to make a second career out of writing.

  4. Hmmm other than time travel not sure where those ten hours could come from. But yes some days they are needed, worked on A to Z too.

  5. You covered a lot of ground today. Still haven't decided what I'm going to be doing for the A-Z.

  6. I'm so jealous that you've already worked on your alphabet.... I think it's the AtoZ that's keeping me away from Blogger. Now that I'm signed up, I'm busy planning it in my head but not ready to write. And certainly can't think past it enough to write "regular" posts, lol! Need to get out of my own head...

    Have a great day!
