Six Things I Did Today

I don't have a cute image to accompany my post today since I am writing this from a mobile device from my son's hospital room. All of my six images are stored on my computer's hard drive, which is not with me. Nonetheless, here are my six things for today:

  1. Woke up with a stiff neck. Have you ever slept ( or attempted to sleep) on those couch-like things in a hospital room? They're not too comfy. Plus, the nurses check vitals every four hours, and they need light to do it. On the positive side, my son has his own private room (he's had to share in the past), and sleeping here was better than the time I only had a bedside chair to doze in.
  2. Showered at the Ronald McDonald House. There are too many people in and out of the room to want to shower here.
  3. Talked to doctors about my kiddo's condition. We think we may have some answers.
  4. Read while waiting for doctors.
  5. Ate a cafeteria burrito (exciting day, huh?)
  6. Worked on a read-through of OUTCAST. I'm striving for publication later this month. The cover reveal will be very soon.
What did you do today?

  1. I prayed for you. Sorry to hear about all the problems. Wish I could do something more than just send happy thoughts your way. I've done the hospital room couch, chair and Ronald McDonald House shower. I feel ya. I hope No. 3 works out.

  3. Susan, good luck to you and your son. I've also slept on the couch in the hospital with my daughter multiple nights. NO sleep and stress makes for some hard days and nights.
    Prayers your way!

  5. So glad you have a private room; that makes such a difference for the patient and visitors. My milestone today was "reclaiming" my office; I have not used it in 3 months, taking care of work from our RV this summer. I'm ready to get back in the saddle at last! Hoping you do have answers to help Zane feel better. Keeping you all close . . .

  6. I hope Zane is doing well and you get some answers. We're so lucky that my stepson has no health problems, but he's having an operation on his knees in November and last time he picked up an infection...

I am also on hand to help with the cover reveal. Just give me a shout! :)
