As many of you may already know, the road is my muse. I
often come up with my best ideas while cruising down the road. Well, for some
strange reason, while I was doing just that, Josie and the Pussycats popped
into my head.
I used to watch the show in syndication back in the 70s. I
know, I’m totally dating myself. Then, the thought of the show prompted an idea
for a new YA novel—a novel that has nothing to do with girl bands or
leopard-print leotards.
Anyway, here’s a flashback for you…if you’re familiar with
the show.

Now there's a blast from the past. Yep. Watched it as a kid. Melody would twinkle her nose when there was danger. Or something like that.

Yeah, I remember watching it. I think the series came to an end when they shot the girls into space with a monkey. That kills a show every time.
