Return of the...Blogger & WWW Wednesdays

Wow, two and a half months have flown by. It’s hard to believe I have been away from this blog for so long. I thought I would return sooner than March, but I wound up focusing on family and—brace yourselves—writing. I managed to outline a YA trilogy that I plan to start in the next week or so. This is a giant leap for me since I normally spend months—perhaps years—ruminating on an idea. This one has only been in my head for six months max.

Anyway, I thought WWW Wednesdays would be a great way to return to my blog, especially since I’ve done quite a lot of reading while I was “away”. I missed you all!

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Actually…a lot.

I'm reading this one with my older son. It is a wonderful book and, in many ways, relatable to our situation.

This is a reread to help me with my plotting addiction.

Okay, I don't think I'll wind up finishing this one. It reads too much like a lusty romance book, which is so not my thing.

My dad recommended this. I doubt that I'll follow the diet in the strictest sense, but it is so informative and worth trying--to some degree.

What did you recently finish reading?

This was my second time reading (the first time was back in college when it was impossible to get the whole notion of the need to rediscover self). That said, I loved it more this time than I did in my 20s.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Thanks to Julia Hoban.

  1. I read a really interesting memoir: May This Be The Best Year of Your Life. Now I'm reading an MG The Keepers of the Lost Cities. Talk about different books on my TBR list. Oh well, I kind of enjoy reading all over the place.
