Six Things I Plan to Do Today...

Kite Flying. Things are insanely crazy this summer. So the boys and I have found a new way to relax (i.e., when the kite stays in the air). Need to check the wind before we make the trek into town.

Store. We are downing Allegra like there’s no tomorrow in our household. Both the boys and I are each taking some version of the medicine. We definitely need it with all the pollen in the air. It’s working for two of us. For the other: not so much.

Editing. A novel from NaNo 2000-something has been languishing on my hard drive for a very long time. When it’s too hectic to pen new words, I’ve been pulling out the manuscript and rereading/editing it. It has definitely been screaming for my attention, so I’ve finally taken the ear plugs out to listen.

Writing. My intention is to gets some new words down on my trilogy. It’s off to a pretty good start. If I can get my head back in that world, I hope to make some progress today.

Exercise. Always. It’s my go-to stress reliever.

Exercise for My Youngest. I’ve neglected his PT time, and it shows. He’s grown a bit lazy over the last few weeks and refuses to stand and walk. We need to get him back on his game.

What's on your agenda for today?

  1. Good luck with the writing and stay away from kite-eating trees.

  2. I only had one thing on my agenda today: Complete this round of revisions and send the manuscript back to my editor -- which I did around 4pm or so.

Now I feel just like limp spaghetti.

  3. Kite flying sounds like a blast! Hope you have fun. :) Sorry about the allergies- we've been struggling here, too. Good luck with writing/editing.
