WWW Wednesdays is hosted by Miz B at Should Be Reading.
To play along, just answer the following questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I’m a bit intrigued by the story, though the characters are
a bit underdeveloped and there are a lot of clichés in use throughout the book.
What did you recently finish reading?
I struggled through some of the chapters, but found the
story to be oddly original and quite touching.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve not been reading a whole lot lately. I have too many
writing projects happening at once. But, if I had to choose today, I’d say
Before They’re Gone because it’s part of the competition with the completed
memoir I hope to market to agents and/or publishers soon. Need to check out
what I’m up against.
What are you reading right now?

Interesting choices.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading Heather McCorkle's The Dragon Empire. Just finished up with Amy Plum's Until I Die. I have so many reads to catch up on this summer. Hmm...I might read Starcrosssed.
I just finished reading Smoke and Bone, and am in the middle of reading 6 other books, so as for what I'm going to read next, I think it's more a question of what I'm going to finish next. =) It might be 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, it might be The Prisoner of Cell 25, it might be The Book Thief or Self Editing for Fiction Writers. Choices, choices.
ReplyDeleteReading has been laborious and tiring...but with GLASSES beginning to work for me...I can see worlds opening up for me! Thanks for the blitzing!
ReplyDeleteI've been working on "The Shack" by William P. Young, with mixed feelings about it, and an intriguing YA book, "Shadow Spinner" by Andrew Leon.
I recently finished the historical novel about two sisters and their lives in the People's Republic of China, "Dreams of Joy" by Lisa See. Captivating.
I'm going to be reading for research "The Lobster Coast" by Colin Woodard about the rebel lobster men on the coast of Maine.
I just finished Charlaine Harris's #13, the last in the series, Dead Ever After. And it was better than I'd anticipated so I went back and read #12 over again, Deadlocked, and it wasn't as bad as I remembered, so now I'm reading #13 again.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just downloaded Wanted: One Ghost, by Loni Lynne and can't wait to start it!
I'm in between books right now. And since I'm not writing, I need to be reading.
ReplyDeleteBefore They're Gone sounds like it might be a great read. :) I've been reading Silver Linings Playbook.
ReplyDeleteSome intriguing choices...
ReplyDeleteI just finished The Caged Graves by Dianne Salerni..... Excellent.
Next? I haven't decided. I might reread a old HP favorite. I need a bit of magic. LOL.
I love oddly original stories. I'm tired of the predictable fiction that is so often available. Glad you mentioned Extremely Loud . . .
