Have you heard of WRiTE CLUB? Inspired by the movie, Fight Club, the fabulous DL Hammons at Cruising Altitude created this online writing—dare I say, fight? But rather than a beat ‘em up,
knock ‘em out brawl, WRiTE CLUB embodies simple, good-natured competition with
lots of added fun.
Over the course of eight weeks, WRiTE CLUB will hold
twice-weekly bouts in which winners will advance to the playoffs that will lead
to a single champion. The writing samples will be anonymous 500 word writing
samples, submitted under a pen name by anyone who wishes to participate. The
writing can be any genre or style with the word count being the only
restriction.
The winner will be determined by WRiTE CLUB members alone.
