Progress Report Tuesday

Progress report time! There’s not much to tell, so this will be short.

I’ve made some ever-so-slow progress on my YA novel, Superstition Gold since the weekend.

                        Saturday:        1386 words

                        Sunday:          1179 words

                        Monday:         186 words

                        Today:             276 so far

It is slow going right now, but given the fact that I haven’t written since before the Christmas holiday, it is something. Plus, I’ve had a few personal things happen this week that have curtailed my progress.

I am still in the process of mapping out where I am and where I need to be on each of my manuscripts. All of them need work to some degree or another. But I am excited to get them to a place where I can start giving them over to an editor and ready them for either submission or self-publication. I am leaning toward the latter.

On January 23rd, Sheri Larson at Writers’ Ally is hosting a blog hop. It’s called Rebel Writer’s Pledge 2012. The gist (borrowed from Sheri's site): Rebel against our views from last year that hindered us from reaching our goals, and give us new insight and a fresh start. So click here to sign up for the blog hop and grab the badge for your site.

  1. I wish I had your courage. I can't declare my word counts in public, they're so low on some days :(

  2. Bah a little slow never hurt nothing, have to brush off that holiday ring, then can get down to business and write all night.
