- Went to Indelibles on Fire. A venue that features amazing Indie writers. Also, there’s a giveaway. Go see for yourself.
- Visited Blogs. I have hard time keeping up with the world of blogs. There are so many great ones I enjoy. There’s just never enough time to get to them all in one day.
- Wrote. Seriously. I need to get my YA manuscript. D.O.N.E. so I can dust off my other works that have lain dormant for—well, for too long.
- Planned Out My Writing. I’ve been a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants typed of gal. I go along, day by day. When I have time, I write. When I don’t, I don’t. The problem is my writing simply is not getting done. I have manuscripts in various stages of
disrepair. So, I’m making a plan. A spreadsheet of where I am and where I need to go. I need to show that I’m serious about this whole writing thing. - Contemplated. Should I keep the bread maker I wanted and that my husband so generously got me for Christmas? Or should I take it back? I mean, does bread actually turn out in these things? Does anyone know?
- Made French Onion Soup. All right, so technically I haven’t made it yet. But I intend to make it tonight. The thing is, I wanted to get this posted before the title became Six Things I Did on Tuesday.

Six Things I Did Today...

Susan,
ReplyDeleteI've had a bread maker for probably a decade now. I only use it for the dough cycle, and then I take the dough out of the machine and bake the bread in the oven. It works well for that, but if the machine ever breaks, I doubt I would replace it.
Love,
Laura
mmmmm french onion soup! you know what would be awesome with that? fresh bread! try it!
ReplyDeletehaha well if it was six things you did on Tuesday at least you would be 6 steps ahead. No idea about bread though, guess you just have to let it grow.
ReplyDelete#4 - great idea! I definitely need to keep track of my WIPs and all those shiny ideas I haven't started on yet.
ReplyDelete#5 - I've had a breadmaker for years, but use it sparingly b/c my bread turns out heavy. I've read that the trick to good bread is to use less flour initially and then stand there in the initial mixing stages to add as needed. That seems to defeat the purpose of using the machine. But I've tried that trick and it actually helps.
Well, I hope you make the soup, because that would make for the perfect end to what sounds like a very lovely day!
