Flashback Fridays, Six Flags Great America, & the Final Days of the YA Book Giveaway


Back in the late 80s and early 90s, I worked at a Six Flags park as a ride operator on these two rides:

I had an oh-so-fun time in the two summers I was there. There are a number of songs that remind me of that carefree time, and this is one of them. How apropos given the theme of the song. So this is for all my old friends from SFGA (some of whom I am fortunate enough to still know today).

    The Tidal Wave was only, like, my favorite!!! That must've been a blast to work there. And thanks for the Cure song - such a lovely tune. :)
