Six Things and YA Book Giveaway Winner

  1. Took the boys to school and hung out for awhile to make sure staff feels comfortable enough with the medical components related to my youngest.
  2. Doctor’s appointment. I was not feeling well over the weekend, which basically messed up all my editing/revision plans. So I decided to see the MD today. Should be on the mend in a few days.
  3. Grocery shopping. Because I was in town and we needed stuff.
  4. Worked on revisions. For my latest YA contemporary manuscript, OUTCAST. Did it in my car. In the school parking lot. While waiting for the bell to ring.
  5. Read with my older son. We’re currently finishing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
  6. Chose the winner of my YA book giveaway, which was supposed to happen yesterday. That would be…Elizabeth Seckman. I will notify you by email tomorrow to get your address. Congratulations!

  2. Isn't the car-rider line/school parking lot a great place for revisions? :)

  3. Sorry you haven't been feeling well, Susan. I hope you are able to get some rest and feel better soon.

How fun that you and your son are reading Harry Potter together. Some day I need to read that series over again. :)

  4. BTW - I am reading Fractured now. Like the emotion you've put into it. I can certainly relate to Anna, havnig had that experience.

  5. Hi, Susan ...

YAY for reading HP Chamber of Secrets with your son! LOVE IT!

A y/a contemporary? Sounds awesome. I just put the finishing touches on mine... Love to know what your's is about. Let me know.

Thanks so much for you sweet comment on my blog earlier. I means so much to me that you enjoy my writing so much. I am hoping and praying I get something published by the end of this year. I have so many irons on the burner, hopefully something will heat up.

  6. Hope you're feeling better now!

My kids were never into the Harry Potter books, just the films.
