What are you currently reading?
I’ve read it before, but am on a memoir kick in preparation
for revisiting my currently-shelved memoir.
What did you recently finish reading?
It finished better than it started. But I still stand by my
original sentiments: I didn’t care for the author in the book. In person, she
may be an absolutely wonderful person, but that was not conveyed on the page.
What do you think you’ll read next?
As I write this, I’m thinking I’ll read Ophelia by Lisa
Klein. But that may change by the time I complete A Walk in the Woods.
What are you reading this week?

I've been on a memoir kick, too, but in audiobook format.
ReplyDeletei am still on the same old books--i cannot believe how little i read these days--i mean i used to be a person that would read a book every couple of days---i hope i am not losing concentration---like you above commenter--i find i am enjoying memoirs much more than i used to--happy ready susan :)
ReplyDeleteMy head's buried in my WIP. Editing's a bear so I'm too mentally tired at night to do much except go to bed.

ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh, Susan. :)
I've been on a romance kick. I haven't read a memoir in eons but I used to really enjoy them. People also tend to be kinder to themselves in print than in person, especially with a memoir. So if that author was that dislikable in the book I don't think she'd be someone that I'd want to meet in person. lol
ReplyDeleteMy WWW Wednesday is here.
I'm reading Let's Pretend This Never Happened and a short novel from one of my writer friends. Details surely to follow!
ReplyDeletei'm reading Legend by Marie Lu, it's a different kind of dystopian love story. i like it!
