What are you currently reading?
I'm having a hard time getting into this book. Not sure if it's the writing or my hectic week. Now that my week is less busy, I may have time to give it a better shot.
I'm finishing this one with my older son right now. I've read it before and am enjoying it all over again.

My older son and I are definitely moving into Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. On my own, I may give In a Sunburned Country a try. It's been sitting on my bookshelf for ages.
What are you reading right now?

Currently reading "The Gunslinger"
ReplyDeleteJust finished "Dear Mr. Crenshaw"
Plan to read "Comes the Blind Fury"
Elizabeth, how funny you mentioned John Saul. I was just talking with my hairdresser yesterday about him. Comes the Blind Fury is the only book of his I've read...many, many years ago.
DeleteThanks, Susan.
ReplyDeleteI recently read We Hear the Dead by fellow blogger Dianne Salerni.
I am currently reading Small Damages by Beth Kephart.
Don't know what I'll read next. :)
I want to reread Harry Potter! How fun for you. I keep seeing Wild in the bookstore, looking forward to your review. Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that MG books seem to have a lot more boy MCs than YA ones. Seems the focus of most YA books these days are on girls and romance and that could be why there aren't as many teen boy readers. I'm with you though we def need some more boy focused books.
ReplyDeleteMy WWW Wednesday is here.
Ooh, The Lie That Binds looks like my kind of book :)

I love that you are reading the HP books with your son. You are growing a lifetime reader.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by The Book Bag!
ooh I Love Harry Potter!
ReplyDeleteJust finished listening to Elizabeth Peters' Crocodile on the Sandbank. Adult mystery set in 1900's Egypt. :)

There were moments I struggled with Wild, I am hardly the outdoorsy type. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am reading "The After" by Briane Pagel. I like it thus far and hope to finish it this weekend.
ReplyDeleteCurrently reading- Kill Order by James Dashner
ReplyDeleteJust finished reading- Superstitions by (you) Susan Oloier and LOVED it! What an amazing book- I am recommending it to everyone!
Reading next- not sure. I'll be lucky to finish Kill Order since I am working hard on copy edits and publishing, Break From You, right now...
Yay, Harry Potter! I hope your son is loving it - I guess so if you'll definitely be moving on to book three.
ReplyDeleteLet's see I'm currently reading Highway to Love, a book my aunt just published at the same time I'm reading my sister's manuscript & providing feedback. Two very different works so it's interesting to be reading them at the same time.
I've seen Wild on another blog. It sounds an interesting read. I'm 100 pages off finishing Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. My next read will be The Power of Six by Pittacus Lore.
ReplyDeleteI just finished STARTERS by Lissa Price. I loved it so much that I might reread it right away. The book I'm reading now is THE CAVENDISH HOME FOR BOYS AND GIRLS. It was a slow start for me, but it is getting really interesting.
ReplyDeleteSo this is like the millionth time I've seen Wild. Guess I need to look into that one.
ReplyDeleteHi, Susan! I tagged you today on my blog for "The Next Big Thing" game. Stop by and read the rules when you get a chance ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
First time I've heard of 'Wild', but it does look interesting! Hmm...
ReplyDeleteJust finished reading "Mortality" by Christopher Hitchens. I recently read "11/22/63" by Stephen King and I want to read "Gone Girl."
ReplyDeleteI've also been reading and editing my manuscript and I officially can't stand it anymore:)
I'll have to read The Lie That Binds. I love male protagonists in books. Right now I'm reading Cassa Fire.
