Six Things I Did Today Instead of Writing
1. Laundy, laundry, and more laundry. We went camping at Natural Bridges in Utah (Can I just say how much I love southern Utah?). We had a great time, but now it’s time to do those outrageous pounds of laundry.
2. Drove the hubby to work. For many, this is not worth much of a mention. But he works in the neighboring town, which is a forty-five minute drive away. We forgot to pick up his Jeep on the way back from our camping trip this weekend, so we elected to do it today. Now half my day is gone :-)
3. Caught up on the May Mom Blog Tour. Hosted by Nadia at Musings by the Light of the Moon and Christine Marie at All About Mom Sense, the blog tour celebrates the special gifts and unavoidable trials of being a mother. The Twitter hashtag is #maymomblog. Had to catch up since I was out of town and all.
4. Searched for a book to read. I just finished Crank by Ellen Hopkins. This woman can write! It only took me a day to read the whole thing; I simply could not put it down. So, I am combing my overly-filled bookshelves for another read.
5. Put photos on the hard drive. I finally took some pictures of my family during our weekend outing. Many who know me may have come to the conclusion that sometime over the past six months to a year, my camera broke. It did not. I have simply been complacent and lazy.
6. Tried to stay warm. It is May 9th. It is spring. Yet it is overcast. 56 degrees. And my heater is running. Enough said.

Blogging is writing. :)
ReplyDeleteI organized some photos on my laptop today too. It's amazing how much time organizing your computer can suck up.
Austin, True, true. But I often use blogging as a procrastination tool to avoid working on my other writing (wips, revisions, that sort of thing).
ReplyDeleteHi, Susan,
