- Read. The Pact by Jodi Picoult. I’ve never read one of her books before. At only 50 pages in, I am not sure what I think yet.
- Story Development. Not for one of my books, but for my older son’s. I helped him with character development for a Ninja book he wants to write.
- Facebook. I normally am not one to spend much time on FB. But I thought I’d do a little catching up today. After fifteen minutes or so, I was bored.
- Played with the boys. Obstacle courses, Lego Ninjago Spinjitzu fights, Ipad applications. And we’re not finished yet.
- Exercised. Because I’m out of shape and have to put on a bathing suit tomorrow when I take the boys swimming.
- Laundry. It never goes away. In fact, clothes seem to multiply in the hamper like bunnies in a meadow.

#2 is easily my favorite. How cool!
ReplyDelete"seem to multiply in the hamper like bunnies in a meadow" -- excellently put.
What a good mom you are. I haven't read PACT yet, but I generally love Jodi Picoult. You'll have to report on this one when you're done!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to make sure you got my e-mail about the Like Mandarin book. If not, mine is gina.ciocca(at)yahoo(dot)com. And I hear you on the laundry. It's only my husband and me in our house and the hamper always seems full!
Hi, Susan! Love your list and laughed at your characterization of the laundry hamper - I've decided mine has some assexual reproduction going on as soon as I set it next to the washing machine. The closer to the machine, the more it grows exponentially... scary thought...
ReplyDeleteHappy Summer, and thanks again for the encouraging words over at my blog!
The education tipster is working on her YA historical novel, so I'm happy to do the laundry. With a dog going in and out and jumping on the bed, the sheets get laundered frequently. I hang them outside on a line for 2 reasons: they smell great when dry and require no electricity-generated heat in the house, thus saving us about $20 a month. (But I always did the laundry myseld, an old habit).
ReplyDeleteReading is a hobby of mine. Kids grown can't play with them.
Only bunnies are cuter to look at and you don't have to wash them!!!
