Six Things I Did Today...

  1. Worked on Revisions. Yes, I know this is usually Six Things I Did Today Instead of Writing. But, I actually wrote today. In the form of revisions. I have been highly motivated to work through my manuscripts since school is back in session. Yay, me!
  2. Chauffeuring. I drove the boys to school. Picked one up mid-day and will pick one up at the end of the day. Just wait until extracurricular activities start. At that point, I will need to buy a chauffeur hat.
  3. Started a Slideshow. We ended our year-long roadtrip four years ago. I am just now putting together a Movie Maker slideshow. I also have a cross-stitch project I started for one of my sons when he was a baby. It was the Precious Moments alphabet. I made it to the letter “U” before I stopped. That was seven years ago. I get the procrastination gene from my dad J Love you, Dad!
  4. Laundry. Always. I think I am going to implement a new rule that the family can only wear one-time-use, biodegradable clothes.
  5. Wondered. What book am I going to read next? Borders (sadly, going out of business) is now selling books at 50-70% off. I bought these: Resilience by Elizabeth Edwards; Abandon by Meg Cabot; Love Story by Jennifer Echols; Just Listen by Sarah Dessen; The Host by Stephanie Meyer; Cut by Patricia McCormick; Evermore by Alyson Noel; Harvest by Tess Gerritsen; and Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris. Plus I have Catching Fire on my Kindle. Now which one should I read?
  6. Cleaned my Son’s Fish Tank. It’s like an amusement park without the rides.
Tomorrow I will announce the giveaway winners!

  2. Your book selections sound exciting. My vote goes for The Host. I'm interested to hear how her adult novel reads.
