WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB at
To play along, answer the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m only one chapter in, but I am already touched by what she has written. We’ll see if that sentiment continues throughout the book.

I am only on the letter “G” right now. I need time to absorb each short story.

I am also reading a manuscript for my amazing and talented crit. partner, Shawna, right now. But I need to devote a lot of uninterrupted time to this one. I don’t want to divide my attention between it and laundry, kids, dinner. You get the picture.

What did you recently finish reading?

Two words: Loved it!

Talk about resilience. Ann Best showed a lot of it throughout her life’s journey, as depicted in her memoir.

What do you think you’ll read next?

But it all depends on my mood.

  1. New follower here!

I still need to get my hands on a copy of Anna and the French Kiss! I like the Sookie Stackhouse books, but you really do have to be in the right mood to read them.

    Here’s my WWW Wednesdays post

  2. Hi Susan, I'm dropping by to say hi from the Campaign--we're in the same YA group. I'm about to re-read Orwell's Animal Farm because I'm teaching it this semester in my lit class. Love Orwell.

  4. I have loved all the Sookie Stackhouse books and also enjoying True Blood (but that may be because of all the naked hot men!).

    Here are my choices:

  5. I've never read any of the Sookie Stackhouse series, but I do watch the HBO show (I know they differ wildly). I'm currently reading False Mermaid by Erin Hart, just finished James Patterson & Gabrielle Charbonnet's Witch & Wizard, and plan to read Don Quixote. I'll have to join next week.

  13. Truth or Lie---mmmm.

Truth--I'm reading "Long Gone" and it's good. By A...something Burke (I think). I'm not good with names. I went to her online book talk and liked her enough to buy her book. But I can't remember her name. I want to say Burke. Only a chapter in but it seems good.

Now this what I debated not tell you---what I finished...mm---embarrassing... I have an addiction to shifter romances. There I said it. And in public too. I just finished 'Big Bad Beast' by Shelley (I think)...Laurenston(I'm close, I know I am). I really liked it. Not as much as some of her earlier books but its good. And yes I've read her whole series and can't quite remember her name's spelling. But I have her saved on my Kindle--it remembers for me.

Oh and HIIII!!! I'm a fellow campaigner.

  14. Hi Susan! I'm a fellow campaigner in the Women's Fiction/ Chicklit group. My first book is Women's Fiction - maybe, I don't know - I'm having extreme trouble figuring out just where it belongs! Why didn't I write my first book in an exact genre!
    It's great to meet you!

The follower widget isn't working right now, but I followed with the toolbar across the top, so I can come back and follow with GFC when it's working.

    Nice to meet you!
