Today is Travel Tuesday. It is also the Wonderland Giveaway Blogfest hosted by Sylvia at Writing in Wonderland as a way to celebrate her achievement of 400 followers. Yay, Sylvia! In order to keep Travel Tuesday in its usual day slot, I have decided to combine the two.
Since my travel memoir takes place throughout the national park system in the lower 48 (see Our Life on the Road for more), I thought I would make the giveaway about the national parks themselves. During our trip, we took more than 18,000 photos. Several are shown below.

Wow, gorgeous photos! Big congrats to Sylvia!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Susan, but I can't enter your quiz as I live in England, and have never visited any of America's National Parks.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that I popped in (and became a follower) through Sylvia's blogfest.
Beautiful photos! What a great idea for a giveaway. I'll have to think about these a while. I'm pretty sure I know three of them, but I'm not positive about the others. I'm going to let it stew a while. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWow! this is an amazingly creative giveaway, Susan. There will be some lucky person who recognizes the photographs, which are beautiful. I thought California, New Mexico, Arizona--love those joshua trees--as I scrolled down. It won't be me. I'm very bad with names, and it's getting worse as I get older!
ReplyDeleteI came over from my blog, where you posted a comment, to meet you, too. I think if you do win a copy of my memoir you could call it a "copy" for your Kindle. Times have certainly changed! But though I still love "real" books, especially to mark up/underline and flip pages, I do like to read on my Kindle or Nook. For one thing, you can enlarge or decrease the font; and it certainly does save space. No more overflowing bookcases (and in the small places I've moved in and out of in my life I've had to unload a lot of my books--that's been difficult to do).
Anyway, travel memoirs are "in" so I hope yours will meet with success!
And I'm now a follower.
