Six Things I Did Today...

  1. Grocery Shopping. Again. I try not to go every week since it’s a 40 minute drive to the market. But it was unavoidable, especially since my oldest wouldn’t eat the Raisin Bran Crunch in the cabinet—so he was opting out of breakfast in the am.
  2. Videotaped the Contents of the House. Our local paper just stated that our subdivision is number one in the county for wildfire danger. Time to update the video from last year.
  3. Revisions. Working hard to get SUPERSTITIONS ready for publication in July. *Fingers crossed*
  4. Math. Worked with the oldest on reviewing multiplication and division today. Had to delve into the realm of extrinsic motivation this year, rewarding (bribing) him to do the work. In the past, he’s always been intrinsically motivated.
  5. Exercise. Worked on standing and walking with the youngest. He still needs to top his daily record of 105 cumulative steps.
  6. CreateSpace. Continued my ongoing dilemma with CreateSpace in getting FRACTURED into paperback. Gosh, this is a lot of work.

  1. You've reminded me I don't have my fire emergency thingy updated. Oh dear. Another chore. I should look at CreateSpace to find out what you're talking about. Do you have a book uploaded and underway with them?

  2. I never seem to run out of chores to do. I do have a book uploaded with them. The interior has been approved, but I'm struggling a bit with adjusting my existing ebook cover to their print standards. Indie publishing sure is a learn-as-you-go type of thing for me.

  3. You are one hard-working woman. Btw, I love createspace. I've been working with them for several years. :)

  4. You have a full plate and the publishing on top of that too. Keep at it though.

  5. You are a busy woman! I hope it starts raining and without lightning. It's pretty dry here too, but we're not surrounded by Ponderosa Pine.

  6. Createspace can be fun to get around, but it's worth it. And you surely keep busy.

  7. Good luck with the revisions! I know you'll have Superstitions ready to go. :)
Yikes on the wildfires, that would totally freak me out.

  8. There's a big fire burning to the west of me...my house is not in imminent danger, but I really should do that videotaping thing!
