I haven't participated in quite a long time since my reading took a back seat to writing. But MizB at Should Be Reading hosts this fun, weekly meme.
To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you'll read next?
I'm helping J.L. with her promotion and book launch.
It's been sitting on my shelf for way too long.

Hey Susan!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I hope that you enjoy The Book Thief! Are you enjoying The Rise from Darkness? It looks interesting!
I'm currently reading Radclyffe Hall's classic The Well of Loneliness and Mal Peet's historical fiction Tamar, set in Holland during 1944-45 and England in 1995. Next, I'll read Sarah Miller's The Lost Crown, told in diary form from the last four Romanova Grand Duchesses. (Though I wanted to bang my head against the wall when I saw it just HAD to be present tense. I got first-person, since it's in diary form, but i am so sick of seeing FPPT in every other YA book!)
ReplyDeleteBooks I recently read were Jillian Larkin's Vixen (made me kind of depressed for the current state of YA historical) and Nancy Garden's Anne on My Mind.
Nice choices, I will need to check them out, place them on my TBR pile. :) I am a new follower too GFC, here is my WWW Post
ReplyDeleteas my post shared today--"destined to reign" is the book i am loving right now:)
ReplyDeleteThat cover for Wuthering Heights is awesome. I just picked up the book a few weeks ago, and it's one of the old classic covers. I look forward to seeing what you think of The Book Thief. I've heard a lot about that book. Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteThat cover of Wuthering Heights is so cool!

Start reading "The Book Thief" as soon as you can - it's wonderful! Sorry to say, though, I hated "Wuthering Heights" long ago. Is it worth a re-do?

The Book Thief is an interesting name. Piques my interest. My current read is Never Buried.
ReplyDeleteCurrent Read: 2010 The best American Mystery Stories, edited by Lee Child
ReplyDeleteRecently Finished Read: The Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger
Next Read: I'm thinking Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett or The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde
The Book Thief sounds interesting. It reminds me of a graphic novel waiting on a shelf to be read called the Book Hunter by Jason Shiga.
I've heard so much about The Book Thief, but have yet to read it!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading Kirk Farber's "Postcards From a Dead Girl."
Great books! I Loved The Book Thief - didn't think I would but it was a great story. Thanks for stopping by The Book Bag.
