1.
Exercised. Bright and early. I’ve been on an
exercise kick lately, which has helped me with my stress level.
2.
Washed the car. We live in the mountains, so
there is tree sap all over my new car. The WD40 didn’t work last time, so I
went equipped with bug/tar/sap remover. Verdict: With a lot of patience and
elbow grease, it works. I spent one hour and fifteen minutes on my car today.
3.
Worked on my memoir at the library. With so many
people wandering around, I feel compelled to work versus surf the Internet.
4.
Chauffeured my kids. We live 35 minutes from the
school, so it’s better to sty in town than to pack on the miles by driving back
and forth. Thus the need to work at the library rather than at home.
5.
Bailed on volunteering today. There is just way
too much to do these days. As much as I love helping with the third grade, I
really needed to spend the time making phone calls and applying for that crazy thing
called a job.
6.
Baseball game (tonight). My older son plays.
Last time he was the catcher. We’ll see what position he gets tonight.

Hi, Susan,
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of time to spend on the car, but it's a good way to get some exercise in. Hope you find a job soon.
With all that, I don't blame you for bailing on the volunteer work.
ReplyDeleteSounds like an incredibly busy but rewarding day! Sap is miserable...so hard to get off of cars (anything really)
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot packed into one day! Hope you got some good work done at the library.
ReplyDeleteyes, sounds like a very busy satisfying day!!
