Well, we’ve come to the end of the A to Z Challenge. It has been a very rewarding experience for me. I have met so many wonderful people throughout the month of April. And, for me, there is no better way to end the Challenge than by mentioning my son, Zane. Five days after his birth, we were told he would die, that his life would not last more than two months. Zane is now 4 years old. I cherish every day I have with him (and with our older son, Justin). Zane was born with the often-fatal chromosomal disorder, Trisomy 18. To read more about him, click here.
And since we lost my beautiful sister-in-law, Sara, this month, here is a picture of her with Zane. We love and miss you so much, pretty Sara.

So glad to have met you thru a to z - what a month it has been!

ReplyDeleteI can't imagine being told that your son will die. That has to be gut wrenching. I'm glad you've had several years to enjoy him. I tried to click on the link to learn more about this disorder but it wouldn't go to the link. I'll try again. Sara was very pretty, sorry for your loss.
