Legwarmers



I, like, totally had a pair of these back in the day. Except mine were turquoise. And, yes, I actually wore them out in public AND thought I looked, like, gnarly. To contribute to my "awsomeness", I also liked Olivia Newton John and sang along quite often into my Mr. Microphone to Physical.

    a couple of years ago, they were coming back in style, at least in my daughter's dance studio :)

    I so remember the legwarmers. My girls wore them to school for years. I still love to watch re-runs of Little House on the Prairie, especially the later years. Great 'L' post. I'm visiting on the A to Z challenge.

    My stepdaughter wore pink legwarmers when she was in our town's Gala Day (like a parade with lots of entries from schools etc) with her dance group dressed as the kids from Fame. She was taken with them and went on to wear them for quite a long time afterwards!

    Yeah, my niece wears legwarmers now. She takes ballet though, so she thinks it okay...

    Even though I don't wear leg warmers anymore (don't need them here in FL!) I still like the old episodes of "Laverne and Shirley" and "Little House." :)

    I was a dancer in the 80's, so yes, I sported the legwarmer look. :)

    My legwarmers were red, and I wore them to school. It must have been a pretty cold winter because I remember wearing woolly tights with legwarmers over the top, and all my friends doing the same.

    I used to watch Little House on the Prairie too, every Sunday just before lunch.
