Okay, so they weren't one of my favorite bands back in the day, but they were popular among many. Still are. Their signature beards made them stand out from others. And perhaps their music did, too. I mean, they've been around since 1969. I must give props to any band that can span 4+ decades.

ReplyDeleteGlad to have made it to the end of the Challenge. Yay!
Zoobilee Zoo! I watched it on PBS when I was a kid. It featured animals played by adults in costume, and called Zoobles. We the viewers were called Zoobaroos.
ReplyDeletehaha yeah a good one--now frank zappa was around as long too--great blog series!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hated ZZTop back in the day. Right up until they did the cameo in Back to the Future 3. Now when I hear them on the radio, I love them ;-) How funny is the whole nostalgia thing?
ReplyDeleteBig congrats on a wonderful month of alphabet posts! Have enjoyed time traveling with you ;-)
Zapped is another one. And Can't Stop Rocking was I think they only one I liked from them that I can recall.
ReplyDeleteThey weren't a favorite of mine either, but I can certainly remember their videos on MTV!
ReplyDeleteI've totally loved your 80s theme, I'm such an 80s girl and this was a fun walk down memory lane. Congrats on finishing the challenge! And, good luck with your upcoming blog tour for Fractured! :)
ZZ Top is the only Z one I can think of as well. I enjoyed following your A to Z adventure down memory lane :-)
ReplyDeleteI loved ZZ Top. Saw them at Bluesfest in Ottawa a few years back and they were still great.
ReplyDeleteZ was a toughie, and you got a double Z in there. :)
Love the 80s theme. This is the first time I've run across your blog, and I'll be reading more posts. The 80s were MY decade, and I see a lot of familiar names in your sidebar. Glad to have found you.
ReplyDeleteI don't listen to them a lot, but they are a great band.
