Yes, I totally loved the movie and still love the song. I still listen to the Furs all the time, The Ghost In You and Heaven are also favorites. Now I'll be singing this one in my head all day, which isn't a bad thing. :)
I borrowed Prince's albums on tape from my sister and listened to them on my walkman when I was little. It's just as well most of the lyrics went over my head!
prince may be the greatest thing as far as entertainment, to come out of the eighties

ReplyDeletePepsi and Shirley?? Do you remember them? The Wham backing singers who thought they'd have a go themselves...
ReplyDeletePretty in Pink, another great movie. Bueller has long past, that was B. But you can still use twist and shout for T..haha
ReplyDeleteI have a slew of bands that began with P on my blog today. I would've done The Police, but decided to save Sting for "S".
ReplyDeleteSigh. I loved that movie. Now I want to see it again. And "The Outsiders." And "The Breakfast Club." And... :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the 80's. But my mom would NOT buy me a pair of parachute pants and I begged her to! :) She said it was a passing fad. I guess it was.
ReplyDeletePrince knew how to put on a show.
ReplyDeleteAnd the movie wasn't to shabby either! :)

ReplyDeleteI still love that song and them. I can't think of another band like them, except maybe Echo and the Bunnymen.
